Margaret Barber grew up in Maine where she completed her undergraduate degree, followed by an internship in Washington D.C. for Congressman Tom Allen.  Following that, Margaret moved to Salt Lake City to obtain her master’s degree.  Margaret has worked in economic development for approximately 17 years.  She worked for a regional economic development district; held a private consulting firm; Worked for the Port of Coos Bay in business development, public relations and communications for eight years, and is now the Ports Policy Programming Coordinator for the State of Oregon. Margaret is passionate about logistics and economic development and is working to collaboratively promote the sustainable flow of commerce throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Neil Maunu, Moderator
Executive Director | PNWA

As PNWA’s Executive Director, Neil Maunu leads the association’s work with Congress, federal agencies, and regional decision-makers on transportation, trade, energy, and environmental policies and projects. PNWA’s membership includes over 155 public ports, transportation providers, marine terminals, agriculture and forest products producers, public utilities, manufacturers, labor groups, and others in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Maunu has over 25 years of leadership experience in business and the military. For more than 18 years, he has led teams in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) maritime industry, including roles in operations, business development, and commercial negotiations. He spent time working for Tidewater Transportation and Terminals and retired from the Oregon National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel. Maunu holds a BS in environmental geography and engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an Executive MBA from Washington State University. A Northwest native with deep PNW roots, Neil was raised in North Portland and now calls Vancouver, Washington, his home. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two kids, and restoring classic cars.

Mike Fudurich
Regional Manager | Harbor Industrial Services Corp.

Mr. Fudurich has over 15 years of experience in the maritime industry and received a Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington. Over 10 years of direct terminal operations and maintenance and repair experience with marine terminal equipment, including cranes, forklifts, top-handlers, reach-stackers, yard tractors, and rolling stock. He possesses asset management experience in providing expertise to port authorities and marine terminal operators with portfolios of 300+ units. Mr. Fudurich is well versed with development and tracking of maintenance schedules, worker training programs, asset procurement and replacement including capital budgeting. Mr. Fudurich manages the Northwest operations for Harbor Industrial with his primary duties as General Manager for Oregon Container Terminal. . Mr. Fudurich has extensive experience managing ILWU Labor, directing operations, and developing regional cargo growth.

Eric Strand
Marine Services Sales Manager | Shaver Transportation

Eric joined Shaver Transportation in 2011 where he spent the first 10 years working on the tugboats as deckhand before moving to shoreside operations in dispatch and logistics. His current role as Marine Services Sales Manager finds his daily activities focused on cultivating new business opportunities in the PNW along with special project management and upriver grain barging.

Graham Lyons
Log Procurement | Southport Forest Products

Graham Lyons, at Southport Forest Products in North Bend, Oregon, focuses on log procurement, supply chain management, and marine logistics. A significant part of his role involves managing their barge/maritime transportation program, coordinating log barges from British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest, and working with suppliers and transportation partners to maintain a reliable log supply for our sawmill and others. Southport owns and operates a 17,000 ton barge paired with a Manitowoc 4600 crane. The system is tailored to log handling, with annual volumes reaching 350,000+ tons from the single barge. Lyons holds a Bachelor’s in Forest Engineering from Oregon State University and a Master’s in Supply Chain Management from the University of Washington.

Dee’s expertise spans all facets of construction and project management, from initial design to final delivery. With decades of hands-on leadership in high-profile projects, Dee has successfully overseen the execution of large-scale projects, including those in the defense, infrastructure, and energy sectors. He is a seasoned executive who understands the importance of quality, innovation, and precision in delivering world-class solutions.

As President at Advanced American Construction (AAC) for over 30 years, Dee has consistently delivered excellence, with several of his projects receiving prestigious awards, including the National AGC-Aon Build America Award and three Marvin Black Partnering Awards. His ability to foster collaboration, drive results, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners has been central to the company’s growth and success.

Deanna Keller

Deanna Keller is serving on the Port of Tacoma Commission as Vice President, Northwest Seaport Alliance Managing Member Vice President, and Secretary of the Executive Board of the Washington Public Ports Association.  A publicly elected position by the voters of Pierce County, she has been serving on the Port Commission since 2020.

The Northwest Seaport Alliance is one of the largest marine cargo gateways in North America which includes international trade, domestic trade such as Alaska and Hawaii, auto imports and exports, breakbulk cargo including high and heavy, and is a strategic military gateway serving JBLM and its mission to protect our country.

Rob Janicki is an entrepreneur and developer with 35 years in the timber industry and deep experience in real estate development, sustainable land-use planning, biomass energy, marine logistics, and carbon optimization. His career sits at the intersection of natural resource management and sustainable development.

As the founder and managing member of The RJ Group, Rob leads a portfolio of community-focused, sustainability-driven residential and commercial developments emphasizing green space preservation, eco-friendly design, and long-term community value, principles rooted in his family’s legacy of sustainable forestry at Janicki Logging & Construction.

Rob also leads Osprey Logistics, a full-service intermodal marine terminal and freight broker on Smith Island in Everett, Washington. The 25-acre facility on Possession Sound offers barge loading and unloading, storage, and material handling for logs, lumber, aggregates, and heavy equipment, moving cargo between Puget Sound, British Columbia, Alaska, and beyond.
