The Port of Port Angeles is currently hiring for the position of Facilities Maintenance-Carpenter. The Facilities Maintenance Carpenter position is a full time, International Longshoremen’s and Warehousemen’s Union Port Employees’ Unit Local 27 (ILWU Local 27) represented position that requires a thorough understanding of construction and maintenance practices, to include concrete forming and flat work, timber and steel framing, finish work (including case work and cabinetry), painting, drywall, insulation and roofing (comp and torch down). A background and understanding in marine construction and steel framing is a plus.
